"Regensburg, Germany. April 27, 1945. They'd taken Regensburg that morning. My Dad, T-Sgt John Hohenstein, K Co., 260th, is in the center.
" I don't know who the other two fellows are. They could be tankers (dad rode "shotgun" on top of tanks for a while), but I suspect they are G-2 guys. Dad spoke German and some time in late April Dad was re-assigned to 65th G-2 to help with the interrogation of prisoners. Somewhere around here I have the names of two friends he had in G-2 and I'll post them when I find them, but I don't know for sure that those two names match these faces. "
